Development System for Bluetooth of BlueCoreX-ROM
CSR´s CasiraTM
CSR's CasiraTM development system (two Casira modules or 'end points' are provided for evaluating and testing Bluetooth® and BlueCoreTM performance) provides an evaluation tool for ROM-based BlueCore designs.
The purchase of Casira grants access to the complete resources of the CSRsupport.com developer's site, including free BlueCore reference designs, design guidelines and application notes, and testing gudielines for manufacture.
The reference designs offer a choice of using a matched balun and filter component from either Soshin or TDK.
Once evaluation is complete, users simply specify the ROM build and 'persistent store' settings they require (which configure various IC parameters such as the PCM port), and the chip is fabricated.
HCI- or RFCOMM-level builds of the Bluetooth stack are available as standard offerings; custom ROM builds are optionally available.
For the host-side Bluetooth stack and application software, CSR offers BlueCore Host Software or Synergy.
