One highlight is the presentation of the new ConnectCore® 8X from Digi International. As a member of the next generation Digi ConnectCore® family, built on NXP's new i.MX 8X application processor, the Digi ConnectCore® 8X provides a complete and secure system platform for building networked intelligent devices.
In this context we also present the latest Atlantik Elektronik IoT Development Kit based on the i.MX processor and the Digi ConnectCore® 8X SBC. This enables you to start designing your own IoT products quickly and easily. We provide kits with out of the box touch display and LTE / Wi-Fi / BT / ETH connectivity support for fastest prototyping and series production.
The kits include the SBC of your choice, LCD, CTP, LTE options, antennas and all required cables, adapters, software and support.
We will also introduce you new solutions and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence. With the Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK for Artificial Intelligence, we help customers easily build their desired intelligent world. Premium Tier Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ platforms have extensive heterogeneous computing capabilities designed to enable the operation of trained neural networks on the device without connecting to the cloud. The Qualcomm® Neural Processing SDK for artificial intelligence (AI) is designed to help developers run one or more neural network models trained in Caffe/Caffe2, ONNX, or TensorFlow on Snapdragon mobile platforms, whether that is the CPU, GPU or DSP.
The Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK does a lot of the heavy lifting needed to run neural networks on Snapdragon mobile platforms, which can help provide developers with more time and resources to focus on building new and innovative user experiences.
Low Power Solutions
The Internet of Things (IoT) presents device-manufacturers in many industries with new business opportunities. By networking their products, companies can offer new business models and new services, including predictive maintenance, performance-data collection and machine-learning. However, where it’s not possible to connect the device to the electricity grid, the question of powering the additional interface and network components required for implementing IoT functionality becomes one of the key challenges facing product-developers. Atlantik Electronik aims to support its customers in solving this problem, by offer a suite of solutions specifically designed for minimal power consumption, whilst increasing connectivity and interface functionality.
The ePaper display technology offers huge potential to solve the challenge of increasing display resolution, whilst keeping the lowest possible power consumption. The killer feature of ePaper displays is the extremely low power consumption. As a bi-stable technology, ePaper displays only require power to change the image. During idle periods the electronic circuits on the display only have a tiny power consumption measured in nanoamperes. Despite their low power consumption, ePaper is an active matrix display technology, which enables high resolutions similar to TFT LCD. The ePaper is the perfect solution to the challenge of delivering a higher-resolution display at the same time as reducing the power consumption of the display.
We offer complete IoT solutions starting from the connectivity for the end devices, adding Gateways with edge computing capabilities and remote management tools.
The connectivity part is done by our latest IoT modules that work with a single RF protocol or even a combination of different standards including: Wi-Fi (Mesh), Bluetooth, 15.4, ZigBee and Digi Mesh.

Bluethooth LE / Audio Solutions
Coupled with the audio development kit (ADK) and tools we provide a flexible platform for designing high quality Bluetooth audio products for high-performance Bluetooth speaker, Bluetooth headphones as well as Bluetooth headsets of the latest generation. Atlantik Elektronik offers latest Bluetooth SoCs & modules that are designed with integrated high-performance audio processors w/ analog/digital output and qualified to Bluetooth 4.2 - 5.x specification.
These products can be used in hostless design to minimize the cost. For more advanced requirements Atlantik can provide a HW-Interface protocol handler for out of the box compatibility to our rich set of 32bit microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex- M0 to M23 cores. This gives our customers the best flexibility with access to a high I/O count for bitmap matching and a typical protocol conversion to DALI or DMX to UART.
We are also presenting a broad portfolio of Sensor solutions for different markets and applications. Lowest power 3D Hall Sensors and industrial current sensors in SMD package. Furthermore we will show infrared and CO2 sensors for smart building technology.
