Atlantik Elektronik, provider of innovative embedded solutions, presents the new TurboX™ S605 Single Board Computer from Thundercomm.

The Single Board Computer is a vision intelligence platform made for smarter IoT devices at the edge. As part of the Qualcomm Vision Intelligence 400 platform its purpose is to bring powerful visual computing and edge computing for machine learning and artificial intelligence to customers applications. Key advantages are world class camera performance, high definition displays, the trust zone for security, the powerful CPU, GPU and the unique DSP.

Based on the Qualcomm Red Dragon QCS605 SoC it integrates the Octa-Core Qualcomm Kryo 300 CPU with up to 2.5GHz, the Adreno 615 GPU for 4k@60 encoding and decoding and the Hexagon 685 DSP, with the DSP itself delivering 1.2 TOPS AI performance at one watt with hardware acceleration

It is running Android 8.1 and provides latest Wi-Fi (2x2 802.11ac/a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth (BT5+0 + LE) connectivity as well as 6GB of LPDDR4x and 64GB eMMC.

On the software side this platform includes advanced camera processing software, machine learning and computer vision software development kits (SDKs), and proven connectivity and security technologies.

It can be used with the Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK: optimizing deep learning processing performance across available resources to achieve superior edge computing experience.

Additional available services around the platform are fast boot optimizations, system tailoring, camera tuning, power saving methods, low latency solutions and turnkey image processing algorithm including drivers, frameworks, algorithms, and application development.
