New generation of 32-bit ARM Cortex-0 family with extensive communication interfaces

Atlantik Elektronik, provider of innovative semiconductor solutions, is presenting the NUC58 Series from Nuvoton. This series is based on an ARM Cortex-M0 kernel and is suitable for use in industrial, motor and system sub-controllers as well as for data communication applications.
As already the name "Mini" expresses, this family is the smallest 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 family from Nuvoton. Not only the clock frequency of 50MHz, 2 UARTs, 32KB flash and 4KB SRAM, but also the half dollar price makes the Mini58 series extremely attractive. The internal 22.1184 MHz oscillator provides ± 1% accuracy at 25°C/5V. The Mini58 series supports a wide supply voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and operates in an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The controller is also available in the small housing types TSSOP20, QFN33 and LQFP48.
The Mini58 series is also equipped with plenty of peripheral devices, such as GPIOs, Timer, UART, SPI, I2C, Watchdog and Brown-Out detector. All these peripherals have been incorporated into the Mini58 series to reduce component count, board space and system cost.
The software development kit supports the Mini58 series with Keil RVMDK, IAR EWARM evaluation development environment, and includes project manager, editor, compiler tools and debugger.
